Ten years CHIO in Aachen

CHIO 2024

For over 10 years, we have been providing our equipment for the CHIO in Aachen, the world festival of equestrian sports. This year, we were once again on-site with over 53 truckloads of equipment, enhancing various areas of the event.

For the 350,000 visitors, the entire grounds were transformed into a massive experience area featuring various VIP zones, grandstands and cateringspaces. Behind the scenes, our equipment was also utilized in all functional areas, such as the kitchens in the entrancetent, the entry control, and the backstage areas. It took a full 14 days to distribute and setup all the materials.

Among other things, we installed over 4,500 chairs and barstools, 500 tables, 300 beertent sets, andapproximately 300 linear meters of white outdoor fencing. Our team also laid flooring across the approximately 200,000m² area in various sections.

This included 2,600m² of kitchen flooring distributed across six kitchen areas and 2,200m² of beachwood flooring on all terraces. Since 2023, we have also taken on the sponsorship of the Four -in-Hand Driving (3rd scoring test for individual and teamrankings) with a winners' round and award ceremony named "Prize of Event Rent GmbH."
